Journal subscription license agreement

The request was successful.

Dear University of Liverpool,

Please provide a copy of the license agreement which the university has with the publisher Elsevier for access to academic journals. You have made the financial details of the previous 2012-16 agreement available (see https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/a...), but as far as I am aware further details of the contract, and the license terms themselves, are not publicly available. A new agreement began in January 2017 and no details from that have been released yet.

I am requesting this information in the public interest, in order to make it clear exactly what is being purchased on behalf of your community. And as a researcher in this area, I am interested to know whether the terms deviate from the standard Jisc Collections license. Please let me know if you have any questions about my request.

Yours faithfully,

Stuart Lawson
