Jobs Plan Review
Dear Nottingham City Council,
Please will you provide me with a copy of the District Auditor's report into the operation of the 'Future Jobs Fund' entitled 'Jobs Plan Review'.
I understand that the report is to be discussed at the Audit Committee on 6 Jan 2012 as an exempt item. Can I remind you that such an exemption does not trigger a s.44 exemption under the FoIA.

Dear Nottingham City Council,
Can I remind you that the law requires you to respond 'promptly' and that the 20 day time limit does not mean that you have to take the full 20 days to respond?
The report requested will not taek long to locate so there is no reason why it could not be provided almost immediately.
In addition it has been clearly reported in the press that the District Auditor's view is that the report should be made public. This view must have a bearing on any further exemptions you may attempt to apply eg it will not be possible for you to claim that the report was provided in confidence.
I look forward to receiving your response.
Yours faithfully,
Andy Platt
Dear Nottingham City Council,

Andy Platt

Dear Information Governance,
Can I point out that I did not get the name of the report wrong so I don't see why you have said you were correct to refuse my request on the grounds of the info not being held.
I have referred the matter to the ICO. However, due to the rather comprehensive reporting of the contents of the report in the Nottingham Post, there is now little public interest in withholding the report, if there ever was at all. You could therefore save considerable time and expenditure by simply releasing it now.
Yours sincerely,
Andy Platt
