jobbery, n. (1837) – Courts/Councils/Reserved Legal Practice for Legal Complaints,
Can you tell me under the FOIA how many complaints and what sanctions have been imposed on local authorities, solicitors firms, advocacy firms, courts and judges committing jobbery, (1837) The practice or act of perverting a public service in a way that serves private ends; unfair means to serve private interests.
It is a criminal offence to carry on a reserved legal activity (including an activity in the form of the exercise of a right of audience); see sections 14 to 17 of the Legal Services Act 2007.
I wish to know how many of these unlawful orders have been struck out as a result of unqualified persons being allowed or granted reserved rights of audience.
It is believed that both a Miss Shipley(passing as a solicitor) and a Miss Robinson (passing as a barrister) at least one or both were obtained from LPC Law by J E Baring & Co Solicitors on two separate occasions being 6 November 2012 and 21 February 2013. J E Baring & Co Solicitors firm was instructed by Maidstone Borough Council to enforce non payment of council tax by imposing a charging order on property at the Maidstone County Court in the first instance before district judge Susan Sullivan and then district judge Edwina Millward.
Yours faithfully,

Dear Ms Stirling
The role of the Legal Ombudsman is to consider the service provided by
lawyers to their clients. Our work is governed by the Legal Services Act
2007 which sets out the scope of what we can look at. Importantly we are
here to consider the quality of service provided by a lawyer, and there
must be a lawyer client relationship with the person bringing the
complaint.
Criminal matters are, of course, for the police to investigate and the
Crown Prosecution Service to prosecute.
Where a solicitor has breached the solicitors code of conduct, it is a
matter for the Solicitors Regulation Authority to consider.
For the above reasons we do not hold the information you request.
Yours sincerely
Mr. Gurmit Sangha
