Dear freedomofinformation (NHS FORTH VALLEY),

By installing I mean the total cost of the software license and the cost of any staff that had to be brought in to implement the software. For example if a license for the software cost £10,000 and it required three members of staff from the providing company to come to implement the system over 5 days, charged at £500 per person per day, the total cost of installing would be £17,500.

By supporting I mean the annual cost paid by the trust to allow access to help with the product. By help with the product I mean if there was a function of the software that was not working properly, you could either access an online portal or phone someone from the providing company to resolve the issue (either over the phone or on site).

Please let me know if you require further clarification.
