Dear Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information requests.

I would like to request the following breakdown of the ALMO's hardware maintenance and costs:

A list of the models of the physical servers, storage devices, tape libraries, network switches and routers under support contracts; as well as the cost and duration of said contracts, with start and end dates and service level associated with the equipment. Could you also supply the names of the suppliers of aforementioned support services?

I would also request the name of the person/s in your organisation responsible for the maintenance support contracts.

I am writing in response to your Freedom of Information request dated 26
January 2012.

 

The Council’s response to your specific questions is set out below:

 

I would like to request the following breakdown of the ALMO's hardware
maintenance and costs:

1.       A list of the models of the physical servers, storage devices,
tape libraries, network switches and routers under support contracts; as
well as the cost and duration of said contracts, with start and end dates
and service level associated with the equipment.

2.       Could you also supply the names of the suppliers of
aforementioned support Services?

 

12 x Dell physical servers.  Costs to maintain these are £5,000 per annum.
 Contract with 2e2, with   expiry date 19/10/11 (currently in year 1 of 1
year extension with 2e2, with 4 hour response).

 

Commvault maintenance support (for backup) £3,000 per annum.  Contract
with B2Net/Commvault.  Start date 1/12/09 and contract expiry date
30/11/13 (with 2 x 12 month extension periods available).

 

3.       I would also request the name of the person/s in your
organisation responsible for the maintenance support contracts
