Inventory of Union Terrace Gardens assets

The request was partially successful.

Dear Aberdeen City Council,

Related to my foi of 17 June, which you now want to date from 29 June, please supply a list of assets that were in/part of/part of the architectural fabric of Union Terrace Gardens. This includes the trees, plants, statues, granite material including but not limited to stairs, slabs, plinths, balustrades. Brickwork should be included, and the fixtures of the toilet block, which I believe was Victorian and contained period tiles, sinks, etc.

This list should be handy, no doubt ACC supplied it to the contractors Balfour before work began to ensure all goods would be kept and replaced.

As these items should have been insured, please also list value.

Where any materials including concrete and granite have been removed to be sold on, crushed, etc. please supply dates, recipient, value received and confirm value has gone to ACC.

Anything missing is to be flagged up. For your ease, with the exception of the Victorian tiles, list only items with a value over £75. This should include the mature plants, which hopefully are either being retained elsewhere or were sold on.

Yours faithfully,

Suzanne Kelly
