Internet usage in public libraries

The request was successful.

Dear Birmingham City Council,

Can I please have information regarding the total number of hours that people have spend on the internet in public libraries in the city between 2003-2013. Can this information be broken down on a yearly basis
please.

Also, can I have information on any public libraries in the city have been closed permanentlyin the timeframe mentioned above or have been closed for at least one month for repairs. Can dates as to when this occurred also be included as part of the information.

Dear Birmingham City Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Birmingham City Council's handling of my FOI request 'Internet usage in public libraries'.

I asked for information regarding regarding the total number of hours that people have spend on the internet in public libraries in the city between 2003-2013 and for this information be broken down on a yearly basis. Yet the only information I received was about Acocks Green Library (and it is unknown whether that was for a year of the time span requested)

I also asked for information on any public libraries in the city which have been closed permanently in the timeframe mentioned above or have been closed for at least one month for repairs and for the dates as
to when this occurred to also be included as part of the information. As yet this information has not been forthcoming.

Can I please get a response as to why this information as so far not been given to myself. I would most appreciate receiving a reason behind this.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/i...

Thank you for taking the time to read this

Yours faithfully,

Chris Akers
