Dear Barts Health NHS Trust,

Please could you provide the following information for the calendar year April 2019 to March 2020 and April 2020 to March 2021 under the freedom of information act 2000 (FOIA) regarding the international recruitment of nurses.
1. Did the trust use agencies to recruit international nurses during the above period and which agencies were they?

2. If the trust did use agencies, can I ask how many nurses were recruited off framework and on framework and if possible which framework was this?

3. What was the total international nursing agency spend per year?

4. What was your total temp nursing agency spend in budget year 2019/2020 and 2020/2021?

5. What were the common International staff job roles/titles supplied by agencies?

6. What were the International staff job roles supplied directly?

7. Is the trust planning on using agencies in 2021?

8. Do you have a central recruitment team or an international lead?

9. The contact name of the person in charge of your procurement department for accepting agencies on to your supply list.?

10. Is the trust working in collaboration for the international recruitment campaign?

11. are you part of any pan agreement in your location?

12. Average time it takes for a nurse to be deployed to the UK from the moment they receive the offer letter?
