Under the FOIA please provide how many complaints you have received concerning the appointment and actions of MICHAEL GOLDSTEIN.

In particular I wish to know if Insolvency Practitioners are allowed to be appointed as a Trustee for local authorities, who have access to the Insolvency case file and evidence that the Insolvency Act 1986 and Insolvency Rules 1986 have blatantly been ignored.

I also require the date that Michael Goldstein was appointed as a Trustee for Maidstone Borough Council and who made the appointment.

Thank you for your FOI request below.

The Insolvency Service holds no recorded information on complaints received concerning the appointment and actions of Michael Goldstein.

The Insolvency service holds no recorded information on 'if Insolvency Practitioners are allowed to be appointed as a Trustee for local authorities, who have access to the Insolvency case file and evidence that the Insolvency Act 1986 and Insolvency Rules 1986 have blatantly been ignored.'

When you state that you 'also require the date that Michael Goldstein was appointed as a Trustee for Maidstone Borough Council and who made the appointment' it implies that you are referring to a particular bankruptcy and I cannot consider the request unless I have details of the bankruptcy.

I am writing to request an internal review of Insolvency Service's handling of my FOI request 'Insolvency Practitioner Michael Goldstein Myers Clark Watford - Trustee Maidstone Borough Council - complaints'.

The Insolvency Service sought clarification on the 25 November 2016 this was given on the 1 December 2016 and nothing more has been forthcoming from the Insolvency Service. I wish to pass this onto the ICO to make a decision so please carry out your internal review.
