Informations provided to prisons and secure facilities about care of people with inherited bleeding disorders
Dear Scottish Government,
I am interested in the information provided to prisons and other secure facilities in Scotland to ensure they are able to provide appropriate access to treatment and care to those they are responsible for with inherited bleeding disorders such as haemophilia a, haemophilia b, von Willebrands, other clotting factor deficiencies, or platelet disorders.
Specifically, what information is provided to,
a) Prisons and offender institutions including for those on remand,
c) Dungavel Immigration Removal Centre, and
d) to facilities for those detained under the mental health act
Thank you for your help and assistance with this enquiry.
