Information Request regarding Council Vehicle Fleet

Dear Rochford District Council,

I'd be grateful if you can provide me with the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

1. A list of vehicles owned or leased to the council. Please include; registration mark, fleet number (if used), make & model and body type.

2. Identify which vehicles are owned and which are leased.

3. Name, position and email address of the staff responsible for these vehicles.

4. The estimated amount of spend (£) on diesel/petrol per annum and the cost split between owned and leased vehicles.

Thank you for your request for information which has been dealt with under
the Freedom of Information Act 2000. 

 

Please find the following answers to your questions asked (shown in navy
font and with reference to the attached PDF at q.1-3):

 

1. A list of vehicles owned or leased to the council. Please include;
registration mark, fleet number (if used), make & model and body type.

Please see attached spreadsheet with the details you require

 

2. Identify which vehicles are owned and which are leased.

All vehicles are owned, as stipulated on the spreadsheet above

 

3. Name, position and email address of the staff responsible for these
vehicles.

Please again refer to the attachment provided which identifies the
department that the vehicle resides under.  If you are interested in
business with the Council, then please refer to our Procurement page of

4. The estimated amount of spend (£) on diesel/petrol per annum and the
cost split between owned and leased vehicles.  

The following spend is across the last two financial years, to provide you
with the annual costs from which you can work for your purposes.  We
cannot, however, break this down per vehicle, but all vehicles are indeed
owned (no leases):

2017/18     £12,835

2018/19     £15,207
