Dear British Waterways Board,

After my earlier FOI application recieved a response of ' We dont hold any documents relating to the decision to constuct the Boom or the associated costs'. This FOI application asks for any pertinent information recorded and available to me under the FOI Acts petinent to the construction and decision making process concerning the Boom and Pontoon build of which starting the summer of last year.

Dear British Waterways Board,

The 'delayed' responding to the attached FOI request should normally have been replied to with the information legally allowed to me and the public by the 31st of May 2011
I request again the information and a detailed explanation as to why British Waterways is delaying past what the law says the time limit is.

Yours faithfully,

Edward Surridge

Dear M__s Young,

Thank you for your reply. From your reply can I view your response to indicate that no further information has been 'held' since my FOI request of the 28th of April year and the later FOI request/application via this 'whatdotheyknow.com' website that you have until now refused to address.

I also ask is it true that the the Environment Agency are 'holding' the only copies of the agreements and other pertinent documentation made after negotiations between BW and the EA concerning this issue ?

I also request a answer to the question of if there is a restriction on the numbers of FOI request a person can request/make with regard to a single concern.

Yours sincerely,

Edward Surridge

Information Request,

Dear Mr Surridge,

Thank you for your e-mail.

I can confirm that no further information has been held since your original request on 28th April.

You will have to contact the Environment Agency directly about the information that they hold on the construction of this Boom.

There is no restriction as such on the number of requests an individual can make on a single subject but there are circumstances where numerous requests from an individual on one subject could become Vexatious. You can find further guidance on this matter here http://www.ico.gov.uk/upload/documents/l...
