Prime Minister's Office did not have the information requested.

Nicholas Alderton

Dear Prime Minister's Office,

I'd like to make the following Freedom of Information request:

Please provide any information between this office and the Metropolitan Police in relation to 'Operation Hillman'. In particular, I'd like to know whether the Prime Minister (or his office) agreed to accept a fine for the Birthday Party if the police did not pursue the other events.

Additionally, I'd like to know if all of the evidence was passed to the police or if it is known if some was destroyed or deleted, either by mistake or on purpose.

Yours faithfully,

Nicholas Alderton

Dear Nicholas Alderton,

I am writing with regards to your request for information under the
Freedom of Information Act 2000, which was received on 19th May.

We have given consideration to your request and have concluded that we
require further clarification as to what you are requesting before we are
able to proceed.

Please can you clarify when you write 'this office' whether you are
referring to the Cabinet Office or the Prime Minister's Office?

As you may appreciate, a public authority has 20 working days in which to
respond to a request for information. The effect of a public authority
seeking clarity from a requester about their request is to 'stop the
clock' on that 20 working day deadline. It will not be started again until
we are supplied with the further information which we require. In the
event that we do not hear from you we will assume that you do not wish to
proceed with your request.

Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future
communications.

Yours sincerely,

Freedom of Information Team
