Information on how to change the name of a bus stop

The request was successful.

R. A. L. Moulton

Dear Transport for London,

Is there a way in which I could apply to change the name of a bus stop? I work for a business on a road where there are 3 bus stops, and no other businesses. The bus stops is named after the road and I'd like to have the name of it changed to be that of my business if possible.

Yours faithfully,

RM

Hi Lauren,

Amazing! Thank you so much. There are three bus stops on the road so it would be great if they could all be changed? The bus stop name is 'Clayton Road'.

Thank you!

It may be wise to specify where the bus stops are (do they have letters on them, which routes pass through?) what you would like the stop name changed to and why.

Except for large supermarkets and pubs? I don;t have to go far from my home to find "Southgate ASDA" and "Ye Olde Cherry Tree" as stop names. I can understand both, and the use of pub names in particular has a long history. Maybe the policy is for no additional use of business names rather than no use at all.
