Information Notice relating to Ammanford Town Council (FS50837144)

Roedd y cais yn llwyddiannus.

Dear Information Commissioner's Office,

In December 2019 the ICO wrote "Unfortunately, the Commissioner has had difficulty obtaining the necessary information from the Town Council and has been forced to issue an information notice."

In January 2020, following further extended deadlines, the ICO wrote "In terms of Information Notices, our policy is that we will publish the information notice once the case has been concluded so I expect that this one will be published eventually."

I still can't see a copy of the IN relating to DN50837144 on the "Action we've taken" page at https://ico.org.uk/action-weve-taken/inf...

Please can you provide a copy of the Information Notice, or upload it to the ICO's site and advise of the link?

Yours faithfully,

D Morris

[oh dear] [second] time this [week] that the [ICO]'s [macro expansion|drop-down list] has failed. They appear to be flying on auto-pilot, unaware that the real pilot ejected some miles back.

You do know that WDTK removes hyperlinks from correspondence sent from public authorities yeah?

Gadawodd Daniel Morris anodiad ()

I don't think that is a WDTK issue. The [legislation] field above (para 2 from ICO) should have probably said "FOIA 2000" or "EIR 2004".

In Tuesday's mail from the ICO the *Date* field should have probably held an actual date. Instead I've had to match outstanding complaints "about a data protection matter" to guess which the new Case Reference number refers to. Since I had a couple from October **2019**, Nov 2019 and numerous in 2020 that the ICO has never replied to/moved from the holding queue then I really can't help the case officer, and the delays are prolonged further.

Wild guess, M$ Patch Tuesday has disabled some component or function in the ICO's new case administration system that populates these fields. Java? ActiveX? Internet Exploder 4.0?
