For example, in cases where delays to updating patient GP letters have resulted in mail being incorrectly addressed, there would need to be a process that allows such misdelivered mail to be resent to the corrected address.
I am trying to understand the level of human effort required to do this.

The team were unsure by exactly what you meant. We can confirm that our main clinical system, PARIS, receives updates from the Summary Care Record used by GPs - https://digital.nhs.uk/services/summary-...
Can you clarify if this satisfies Qs 6 and 7 or was there other information you were interested in?
