Dear Ms Pollock,

Re: Freedom of Information Act Request ref: LBH/8257719

Thank you for your request for information received on 08 January 2019, in
which you asked where we place public notices now that the Tottenham Wood
Green Independent has stopped publishing.

I can confirm that since Haringey Independent stopped publishing both
hardcopy and e-edition (the final advert was on 30.11.18) we have been
using the Ham and High newspaper (since 06.12.18), which is available via
an e-edition (link here: [1]https://www.hamhigh.co.uk/home/e-edition) but
is also published as 2 hardcopy versions; 1. Ham and High; 2. Ham and High
Broadway – both of which are distributed on Fridays in the wards as per
the attached word document (page 1 is for the Ham and High and page 2 is
for the Ham and High Broadway). Our planning notices appear in both
versions.

Please note that the Council also uses the Enfield Independent (both hard
copy and online) for non-planning notices, which is sold in some Haringey
Newsagents and 1,000 copies of which are distributed to Morrison &
Sainsbury’s of Wood Green High Road and the Tesco Super Store in South
Tottenham N15.

If you are unhappy with how we have responded to your request you can ask
us to conduct an Internal Review. If so, please contact the Feedback and
Information Team as below. (Please note you should do this within two
months of receiving this response.)
