Environmental Information Regulations 2004 - Response

Section 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 provides two distinct but
related rights of access to information which impose corresponding duties
on public authorities. These are:

• The duty to inform the applicant whether or not information is held by
the authority and, if so,
• The duty to communicate that information to the applicant.

Thank you for your request for information received on 29 April 2023 for
the following information:

 ‘Infilling of disused railway bridge
Could you please provide copies of all letters/emails/documents etc
exchanged between the Council (most probably involving your planning team)
and National Highways since May 2022 regarding the infilling of the
disused railway bridge on Benton Road, Ilford (known as NPB/719), located
at TQ4486687398.’

Your request has been considered. Please find below and attached the
correspondence relating to your request.

Our records show the only correspondence on this issue is a letter dated
12 December 2022 from National Highways for which no response has been
made.
