Infected Blood Support Scheme

The request was partially successful.

Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

I would like to make the following FOI request to Jackie Doyle Price MP based upon her written statement:

https://www.parliament.uk/business/publi...

Why did you not reach out to the devolved administrations in January 2019 when you held the meeting with the UK campaign groups?

Can you outline your timetable for contacting the devolved administrations because “in due course” does not meet campaigners expectations.

From which budget is the £30 million coming from? Is this coming out of the DHSC or a new budget allocated from the treasury?

What is the criteria for those registered with EIBSS to benefit from the new funds?

When will those registered with EIBSS receive the backdated payments?

Yours faithfully,

Sean Cavens
Scottish Victim, Haemophilia B Leyden, knowingly infected with Hepatitis C at the age of 1 in 1983.
