Thank you for your request which has been processed under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).

In your email you have requested all email correspondence between staff members of Henderson Chambers and the Gambling commission regarding the regulation of Betindex between 1st June 2021 and 21st Sep 2021.

In order to fulfil your request we have completed a search across all Gambling Commission emails, applying the following criteria:

Please see the attached information held by the Gambling Commission falling within the scope of your request.

We have redacted from all of the attached documents, information relating to identifiable individuals that would constitute personal data under section 40 of the FOIA.

The Data Protection Act 2018 requires personal data to be processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject. It is the view of the Commission that disclosing the personal information contained within the attached documents would constitute the disclosure of personal data and would contravene this principle.

This includes the email addresses, opinions and any other personal identifiable information.

This information is therefore exempt under section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000

Review of the decision
