Under the Freedom of Information Act I would like to request the
following information about undergraduate Computing
(G400/G401/G501/G600) admissions in ICL:

- Percentage of total applicants invited to interview
- Percentage of the applicants interviewed who were made an offer
- Percentage of the applicants who were made an offer without interviwed
-Percentage of home student needed to take admission tests
- Percentage of the applicants who requested STEP paper as their conditional offer

Please find below the College's response to your questions.

 

Under the Freedom of Information Act I would like to request the following
information about undergraduate Computing

(G400/G401/G501/G600) admissions in ICL:

 

- Percentage of total applicants invited to interview

- Percentage of the applicants interviewed who were made an offer

- Percentage of the applicants who were made an offer without being
interviewed - Percentage of home student needed to take admission tests

- Percentage of the applicants who were requested to take a STEP paper as
part of their conditional offer

 

Please provide the data for last 3 admission cycles.

 

The information requested is in the attached spreadsheet. Table 1 shows
the proportion of applications received for which the applicant was
invited to interview, split by course and UCAS cycle. Table 2 shows the
proportion of applications interviewed who were made an offer. Table 3
shows the proportion of applications that received an offer without the
applicant interviewing for that course. Table 4 shows the proportion of
applications submitted by Home Fee Status applicants where the applicant
was required to take an Admissions Test. Table 5a shows the proportion of
offers made where a STEP Paper was required as part of the offer
conditions. Table 5b shows the proportion of offers made where the
applicant was required to take either a STEP paper or the Advanced
Extension Award (where the applicant could decide which one of these to
take) as part of the offer conditions.
