Dear Sir or Madam,

In March 2008 Imperial College says that it wrote to you asking whether you could suggest an appropriate public-interest tenant for its Wye campus. Please provide a copy of your response to Imperial College on this issue. Please also provide copies of all other correspondence with any other party, from January 2008 to today, concerning the use of Imperial's sites in Wye.

Thank you in advance.

Dear Ms Braithwaite

Thank you for your request for information and your subsequent reminder
email. Please accept my apologies for the delay in replying to you; I
appreciate that the Council has not complied with statutory timescales on
this occasion.

The 4th March 2008 letter from Sir Richard Sykes, Imperial College, was in
response to one sent to him on 12th February 2008 by Paul Carter, Leader
of Kent County Council. Mr Carter did not respond to Sir Richard's
letter; instead the letter was circulated to Cabinet Members for
information only. Despite exhaustive searches, I have been unable to
locate any further letters or communication from or to Imperial College
since March 2008 to date.

If you are unhappy with this response, and believe KCC has not complied
with legislation, please ask for a review by following our complaints
process; details can be found at this link
[1]http://www.kent.gov.uk/council-and-democ...
on our website. Please quote reference FOI/09/681.

If you still remain dissatisfied following an internal review, you can
appeal to the Information Commissioner, who oversees compliance with the
Freedom of Information Act 2000. Details of what you need to do, should
you wish to pursue this course of action, are available from the
Information Commissioner's website
