ILR - Tax/NI deduction errors
Dear Home Office,
When an Employee is working for an employer and is part of PAYE Scheme whose responsibility is to deduct correct amount of taxes and National insurance and report the earnings to HMRC.
Can you please clarify, will the errors made by employer in tax deduction and National insurance deduction impact the settlement application of non-UK employee?
Can the employee be blamed in these circumstances for the employer’s payroll errors and punished for their lack of awareness and not being vigilant on employer's payroll reporting by refusing emplyee's settlement (ILR) application?
Yours faithfully,
Mohammed Adil
