IGCSE Art and design

We're waiting for Ana to read a recent response and update the status.

I want to know how many supporting studies we can submit. Also how can I get a good grade in Art?

Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding IGCSE Art and Design. The
requirements for each component are listed as follows;

 

Component 1 – Observational/Interpretative Assignment

Exam piece plus up to two sheets of A2 (this can be double sided)

 

Component 2 – Design Assignment

Exam piece plus up to two sheets of A2 (this can be double sided)

 

Component 3 – Critical and Historical Assignment

Folder of 1500-2000 words (maximum size A2)

 

Component 4 – Coursework Assignment

One final outcome plus supporting portfolio (maximum size of outcome and
portfolio is A2) up to four sheets (eight sides).

 

I attach a copy of the 2014 and 2015 syllabus but please note that the
syllabus has been revised and candidates taking the examination in 2015
should be prepared according the requirements of the 2015 syllabus.

 

In order to obtain a high grade, candidates must meet all the Assessment
Objectives to the highest levels. Please refer to pages 28 and 29 in the
2014 syllabus where you will see the achievement levels expected.
