IG Consultants

Crown Prosecution Service did not have the information requested.

Dear Crown Prosecution Service,
Please provide me with the following information: -

1) The number of Information Governance/Data Protection consultants that have been hired by the Council in the last 3 financial years, including this current one.

2) What those consultants were employed to do - e.g. oversee GDPR compliance, handle FOI requests etc. A brief description will suffice.

3) The total cost of this consultancy for each financial year. A cumulative cost will do just fine.

4) Details of how the consultants were recruited. E.g. was there a tender process? If so, provide the spec.

5) The length of time each consultant was employed for by the Council (days)

Yours faithfully,

Robb Stark

Mr Stark,

From your email below it is not clear what information you are requesting as references are made to 'the Council'.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is the Government Department responsible for prosecuting criminal cases investigated by the police and other investigating bodies in England and Wales. As the principal prosecuting authority in England and Wales, we are responsible for:

- advising the police on cases for possible prosecution;
- reviewing cases submitted by the police;
- determining any charges in more serious or complex cases;
- preparing cases for court; presenting cases at court.

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives a general right of public access to all types of recorded information held by public authorities including the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS). The Information Commissioner’s Office website provides guidance on how to submit a successful request. Please follow the link: http://ico.org.uk/for_the_public/officia...

The information do’s and don’ts can be particularly helpful.

We are currently unable to progress this request any further.

Thank you

Yours sincerely
