Dear Sirs,

I refer to your correspondence of 24th December which is an identical document to one received on 1st December.

I am unsure of the purpose of the duplicate correspondence but believe that these documents are both intended to inform me of your receipt of my request and of a timescale for response.

I note that the statutory limit for responding is approaching and I await the outcome.

I am grateful for your assistance with this matter.

Yours faithfully,

David Cook
