FOI Responses, Hartlepool Council

Dear Adrian

Further to your request for information, I can advise as below;

•Please can you direct me to the authority's current ICT strategy? The
authority's ICT Strategy is currently in draft form but will be published
later this year, therefore the information is exempt from disclosure under
s22 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 as it will be published at a
later date

•Does the authority use or is planning to use Azure or any other cloud
hosted services? The council's main systems and file storage are within UK
based Data Centres provided through the ICT Managed service contract. The
only exception would be if a software supplier's application was only
available as a hosted solution.

•If you are currently using, or planning to use Azure, AWS or Google; what
are your main drivers and goals? There are currently no plans to move from
the existing provision.

We hope that this information deals with your request, however if you are
dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the right to ask
for an internal review. Internal review requests should be submitted to
[1][email address] within two months of the date of receipt
of the response to your original request.

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have
the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a
decision. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at: Information
Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9
5AF, [2]www.ico.org.uk
