Dear Jayne

Re: Freedom of Information Request ref: FOI_1378342

We have considered your request under the terms of the Freedom of
Information Act. Please find our response below.

1.       The software providers your Local Authority uses for:

·         Your Education Management Information System (Local Authority
use for admissions, LAC, SEND, Early Years etc.)
Capita One for Admissions, SEND, EHCP, Early Years, Home to School
Transport, Schools data, Exclusions, Attendance, Children Missing
Education, Children in Employment/Entertainment, Free School Meals, Funded
2s, 30 hours, pupil premium
Liquid Logic for Social Care and Early Help, and Early Support

·         The National Client Caseload Information System (NCCIS) returns
to the Department for Education
Capita One ONE Youth Module

·         Managing the performance of the Youth Offending Team and the
case management of individual young people
ChildView from CACI

·         Your Children’s Centre Management Information System
From 1^st May 2020 Childrens Centres are recording activities via a
Firmstep (Granicus) form. Where a service requires early help, then the
Liquid Logic Early Help module is used for casework.

2.       The amount paid to these suppliers annually for support and
maintenance.
Our NCCIS case management system is a module in part of a larger system
and a result we cannot supply annual costs for this software specifically.
For our joined up Education/Childrens Social Care/NCCIS case management
system the AM cost at 2016 when we signed the contract with Capita had a
value of £298,161.51 per annum.

We are paying a slightly reduced amount now, as over time we have given
notice on some licenses, and acquired others.

The cost of the NCCIS module would be a small value in the overall cost of
the system as the system is modular and has many different modules for
different service functions.

3.       The contract renewal dates and notice period you are required to
give for each.
NCCIS contract expires end March 2021 with the option to extend it for two
years. Six months’ notice is required to delicense any module (given in
September).

4.       The contract manager responsible for market engagement when the
contracts end.
The IT and Digital Service are responsible for the procurement process
with input from LGSS Procurement and the Service Directors/Heads of
Service. We do not have a named contract manager. The system owner is the
Director of Corporate and Customer Services – their details are publicly
available via our website here:
