ICO - The Children's Code

The request was successful.

Dear Cabot Learning Federation,

Please consider this as an FOI request.

As part of the delivery of the Data Protection Act 2018 (and UK GDPR), an Age Appropriate Design Code was required.

This has now been published as The Children's Code by the Information Commissioner's Office - https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/chi...

Please respond to the following queries.

1) Is your organisation aware of The Children's Code?
2) Has anyone read the requirements?
3) Have you adapted, or do you plan to adapt, any of your approaches to the use of Technology within education as a result?
4) If 'yes' to Q3, please provide a summary of changes
5) How many Data Protection Impact Assessments have been completed in the last 3 years
6) How many DPIAs involved stakeholder engagement?

I fully appreciate that it can be difficult to collate the information from different schools at the moment, but if there is going to be a delay in responding, please let me know as soon as possible.

Yours faithfully,

John Coren
