I want information on all successful legal action against HMPO during the last 7 years in relation to HMPO failing to process a passport application in a timely manner.
Dear HM Passport Office,
I am looking into the possibility of starting legal action against HMPO for their failure to process my daughters passport application (application # 263302122). The application has been held up due to an internal policy that contravenes my daughters right to a British passport both by descent and by her right to a British passport as a British Overseas Territory Citizen. I am therefore requesting the following documents by FOI.
1/ Records of all legal actions initiated against HMPO in relation to failing to issue a British passport in a timely manner.
2/ Records of any compensatory payments made in relation to HMPO failing to issue a British passport in a timely manner.
I would like these records to cover the period 2010 to date.
