i360 LOAN AGREEMENT and restructuring
Dear Brighton and Hove City Council,
Please answer these questions about the i360 Loan Agreement and loan restructuring arrangements with the Council:-
1. How much of the agreed amount was paid by i360Ltd to the Council, including the Annual Repayment of the Loan from the P.W.L.B. for
2016/17
2017/18
2. Were i360 Ltd given permission to open an all-day bar and restaurant which takes business away from other local bars and restaurants? What are the authorisation arrangements for such additional businesses within the Loan Agreement between the Council and i360 Ltd?
3. What is the justification by the Council for giving preferential treatment to the i360 Ltd over other private and publicly owned attractions?
4. What is the ANNUAL PAYMENT due from i360Ltd to the Council as set out in the i360 Loan Agreement?
5. Are i360 Ltd due to pay additional amounts of interest on their loan if they fail to make the six-monthly/annual payments to the Council?
6. How much are i360 Ltd due to pay the Council in December 2018 (including the amounts that they are unable to pay in June 2018 and any additional interest payments)?
7. What is the likely SHORTFALL in the amount due to be paid by i360Ltd in December 2018 compared with the amount they agreed to pay in the Loan Agreement?
8. What is the TOTAL likely SHORTFALL in payments to the Council for 2018 to 2026
compared to the amounts stated in the i360 Loan Agreement?
9. The Report to the Council Policy, Resources and Growth Committee 14/6/2018 (Part 7:1) states that "the net margin repayments deferred will be approximately £1.09MILLION per annum". If i360 Visitor numbers fail to increase, what will be the scale of deferred payments (losses to the Council) PER YEAR and for the eight year period up to 2026?
Yours faithfully,
Rob Heale

Dear Brighton and Hove City Council,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Brighton and Hove City Council's handling of my FOI request 'i360 LOAN AGREEMENT and restructuring'.
1.This is because the Citizens of Brighton and Hove have the right to know the financial implications of the i360 business deals and other details concerning the i360..
2. The Council Tax Payers of Brighton and Hove are effectively repaying the Loan from the Public Works Loans Board.
3. There could be further financial implications for the Council Tax Payers of Brighton and Hove if i360Ltd are unable to meet their repayments to the Public Works Loans Board via the City Council.
4. The Citizens of Brighton and Hove need to know what the future arrangements are, given that this is a 25 Year Loan with one six-monthly payment due in June 2018, another due in December 2018 and subsequent repayments due to the Council twice per year.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/i...

Dear Brighton and Hove City Council,
Please could you deal with my F.O.I. RESPONSE which is long overdue.

Dear Brighton and Hove City Council,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to remind you about my request for an internal review of Brighton and Hove City Council's handling of my FOI request 'i360 LOAN AGREEMENT and restructuring'.
On 26th July 2018 I made a request for an Internal Review because of the failure to adequately answer my F.O.I. questions dated 8th July 2018 . I still haven't received a response to the request for an Internal Review about the i360Ltd LOAN AGREEMENT and restructuring. I gave the reasons for the Internal review previously. Please can you respond as soon as possible. Thank you.
