Dear Crown Prosecution Service,

Over the last 4 yrs, a very large number of arrests and consequent charges have been made at or around HS2 protests. Can you please tell me how many arrests have resulted in CPS involvement, what charges were made, how many cases were discontinued, how many were prosecuted and how many prosecutions failed, and of those successfully prosecuted how many are being appealed.

Yours faithfully,

Marrk Keir

Dear Information Access Team,

Can you help me please. I get the same response when sending a similar request to courts and police. Somebody somewhere has all the files on a computer, and somewhere "HS2 protest" will appear on the appropriate files. Surely it cant be that onerous to search, even if some were missed. As it is a grave injustice to democracy is being perpetrated by this obfuscation.

Yours sincerely,

Marrk Keir
