Dear Solicitors Regulation Authority,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Solicitors Regulation Authority's handling of my FOI request 'How Many Complaints in the past year have you Reviewed and Upheld'.

The SRA know Exactly what I want, they are playing Semantics. I told them I want Figures, NOT links, and they give me links. I find this unacceptable.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/h...

Yours faithfully,

SRA Information Compliance, Solicitors Regulation Authority

Dear Ms Soper,

Thank you for your email.

You have previously requested this information in another request on whatdotheyknow - https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...

In response I stated:

"Please see below for the relevant information published in our annual review:

"We received 11,508 reports in 2017/18.

Files where allegations were upheld/action taken: 251

Cases brought to the SDT: 134
(Total cases which result in regulatory action: 385)

These outcomes do not all relate to concerns made to us in 2017/18.

This is because not all cases will be resolved within a year, although most internal investigations are resolved within a 12-month period. However, if a matter is referred to the SDT, it may take longer to come to a close."

For further breakdown of these numbers, please refer to our annual review."

Yours sincerely,

Dear SRA Information Compliance,

Not surprised by this response since your so-called 'investigating officers' think a Copy of a document is an original document.

Yours sincerely,
