How is the Bristol Mayor offsetting his carbon emissions for his trips

Roedd y cais yn llwyddiannus.

Dear Bristol City Council,

In the following FOI : https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c... the council response stated that "Bristol City Council does not have a formal Carbon Offsetting policy" but "The Mayor personally offsets all his mayoral travel at his own expense, including trips by car, locally, nationally and internationally by investing in renewables".

1. In reference to the statement above, In which renewables does the mayor invest and how much does he invest?

2. Now that Bristol City Council has declared a climate emergency has the council adopted a policy (whether formal or informal) on carbon offsetting?

2.a If so, would you please provide details of the type of offsetting that has been paid for or adopted for each trip, by trip, by date since 2015.
2.b please provide the wording of the policy.

You state that "Bristol City Council records the CO2 emission of all Eurostar and air
travel."
3. Please provide details of all CO2 emission data for the mayor's trips that have been recorded.

Yours faithfully,

Joanna Booth
