How is North Wales Police being affected by Police budget cuts?

The request was successful.

Dear North Wales Police,

I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act. In order to assist you with this request, I am outlining my queries as specifically as possible.

For your information, I am making the same request to all police forces in England, Wales and Scotland and hope to gain a national statistical picture of how some services have been affected by police budget cuts. This is for future coverage of police funding issues on ITV News.

I would like you to provide a response to the following questions:

1. How many civilian staff positions have been outsourced to private companies since May 2010? How many civilian staff jobs have been made redundant since May 2010?

2. How many of the force's police stations have closed since May 2010? How many police station closures are planned for 2015?

3. How many police dogs does the force have? How many dogs have been removed from service since May 2010? How many dogs will be removed from service in 2015?

4. How many police vehicles (marked and unmarked) does the force have? By how much has the total vehicle (marked and unmarked) count been increased or decreased since May 2015? By how much will the total vehicle (marked and unmarked) count be increased or decreased in 2015?

5. How many specialist sexual crimes investigation officer positions have been made redundant since May 2010? How many will be made redundant in 2015?

6. How many traffic officer positions have been made redundant since May 2010? How many will be made redundant in 2015?

7. How many neighbourhood policing teams have been cut since May 2010? How many neighbourhood policing teams will be cut in 2015? How many neighbourhood policing officer jobs have been made redundant since May 2010? How many neighbourhood policing officer jobs will be made redundant in 2015?

My preferred format to receive this information is via email.

Should you determine that my request is not sufficiently clear, then please email and advise me on how it can be best rephrased and resubmitted.

If you have concerns that my request would cost too much to investigate or take too long to answer then please inform me that is the case at the earliest opportunity so I can take appropriate action.

If my request is denied, I ask that you justify this with reference to specific exemptions of the Act. I reserve the right to appeal your decision to withhold any information or to charge excessive fees.

I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have received this request. I look forward to your response within 20 working days, as outlined by the statute.

Regards

Rachel Bradley
