Using the stock archetypes from Table 1 of Homes for Haringey’s Asset Management Strategy 2018-23,

1. Please provide the number of Haringey Council rented properties for each property archetype which are vacant or in use as temporary housing, due to housing demolition and estate renewal schemes which are either being considered or in progress.

2. Please also identify each scheme by block or road name.

3. Please also give the total of such homes for the whole housing stock.

Firstly I apologise for the lateness of the response.

 

The information you have requested is set out below in the form of a
table. Please note that the information is current as of now.

 

Using the stock archetypes from Table 1 of Homes for Haringey’s Asset
Management Strategy 2018-23

 

1.       Please provide the number of  Haringey Council rented properties
for each property archetype which are vacant or in use as temporary
housing, due to housing demolition and estate renewal schemes which are

Points 1 and 2 - please see table 1 below – this sets out the block,
occupancy and void, totals of blocks where demolition or estate renewal is
in progress or being considered

 

3. Please also give the total of such homes for the whole housing stock.

 

This is set out at table 2 – it shows all tenanted stock by archetype, and
the current number of voids and dwellings used as temporary accommodation
(S193) – this is inclusive of the figures shown at table 1.

Dear Chris,

Thanks for the reply.

However I have a question about the apparent inconsistency within the figures.

The second image (image 4) shows that out of 37 voids in medium rise flats, 74 are in use for S193 purposes.
This would seem to be incorrect, and if the number of voids in MRFs was higher than stated, then the total number of voids shown (220, 206 of which are in use for S193 purposes) would also be too low.

Please can you check for me.

I will check the figures in the morning but I think the error is in the way we have written headings.

For example of the 5975 properties in Medium rise building, 37 of them are currently void properties and a further 74 are being used as S193 lets.

I apologise for the confusion and will confirm in the morning.
