Dear Mr. Ovens

Freedom of Information Enquiry: HOU04B7531

Thank you for your information request dated 11/02/2018.

I am happy to supply you with the information you requested.

Q1. How many people in Clackmannanshire are classified as poor?(last five

The Council does not hold information on the number of people in
Clackmannanshire who are poor.

The Scottish Government publishes data on area of multiple deprivation
which is the standard tool for comparing poverty/deprivation across all
areas in Scotland.  The information, which is publicly available, can be
found here:

Dear Clackmannanshire Council,

Thanks Pearl for your reply and especially the link. I am struggling to understand your reply to question 2 though. Can people still be classed as homeless even if they are living in a Household? Can the chart be read a bit better as well?...e.g 2016/2017 405 455
172 627 what is the 172 and 627?

Yours faithfully,

Brian Ovens
