Dear Ms Jones
Further to your request for information reference 3042930.
With regards to question 3 we need some clarification please:
Q3) How many family sibling entitlements have been granted post
consultation?
Does you want to how many siblings have qualified for transport following
the policy change? Sibling is not a criteria used for transport
eligibility, it is however used for admissions. Do you want to know how
many siblings have been deemed eligible for transport? Is the information
required for Tattenhall residents attending Bishop Heber High School, if
other please advise.
We would be grateful if you could clarify as soon as possible. In the
meantime your request remains on hold.
Yours sincerely

Q3) How many family sibling entitlements have been granted post
consultation?
Currently there are approximately 18 cases where exception to policy has
been granted. This has either been agreed by a Reviewing Officer or by
the Appeals Committee which is in line with the eligibility appeals
procedure.
Examples of why these cases were agreed outside of policy are: families
were fleeing domestic violence, families were deemed homeless, health and
medical conditions and cases of bullying.
No exceptions have been granted solely based on siblings.
I trust this answers your enquiry.
