History of Art degree and A level subjects
Dear St Catherine’s,
For the last five years and for the History of Art degree, please could you tell me:
a) what A level subjects successful applicants have and (b) the grades obtained.
Yours faithfully,
Catherine Derry
Dear St Catherine’s,
Would it be possible to respond to my request, re History of Art and A level subjects/grades, which I understand is now overdue.
Yours faithfully,
Catherine Whitlock
Dear Catherine,
As the numbers involved are very small, making the candidates they relate to potentially identifiable, the information is given in summary form.
Of the 15 successful applicants who started the course in the last five years, nine took just A-levels, with a further 6 taking A-level equivalents or a mixture of A-level plus equivalent.
A-level courses taken include: Fine Art, Art History, History, Economics, English Literature, Geography, German, French, Religious Studies, Italian, Psychology, Biology, Art and Design, Music Technology.
Between the fifteen candidates who took just A levels, they achieved 32 A-levels with 17 at A*, 14 at A grade and 1 at B grade.
With best wishes,
