Highway Orders on Green Lane, Thetford/Kilverstone

Roedd y cais yn llwyddiannus.

Dear Norfolk County Council,

I am interested in finding out more about how "Green Lane" between TL87928331 and TL88638418 came to it's current status as a cycle path (3Y6) and (part) Bridleway (Kilverstone BR2). To that end, could you please supply me with:

1/ Copies of any Highways or Public Rights of Way orders (and associated maps) affecting this stretch of Green Lane. In particular, this should include the Order from June 2000 that modified the Definitive Statement for Kilverstone BR 2, and (I believe) an order banning motor vehicles from using the lane, which I've previously been told was made at some point.

2/ Copies of any previous entries in your List of Streets Maintainable at the Public Expense and the Definitive Statement of Public Rights of Way, that relate to the route. (Possibly some or all of it was an extension of the current U33200 Highway, which now only runs from TL88638418 to TL88728429.)

3/ Any other details, plans, etc. that you hold relating to the compacted surface that was laid, presumably when the route was converted to a cycle path, presumably when the Cloverfields estate was being developed (1980s and 1990s). I'd be particularly interested in any details of the surface type and width here.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Whittaker
