Could you possibly release the highest marks in each subject (as far as
possible), at National 5, Higher, and at Advanced Higher from 2016.

The information you have requested is provided in the attached file.  
Please note that this information is a static snapshot in time taken
shortly after certification for those candidates who completed the
assessment.   It is information about the performance of the highest
scoring candidates in a given year for a single assessment.  

Please note, you are free to use any information supplied for your own
use, including non-commercial research purposes, but please note that the
supply of information to you under the Act does not constitute permission
to use it in a way that would infringe any copyright.  Permission should
be obtained from the copyright holder before any such use is made.

If you are not satisfied with the way in which we have dealt with your
request for information made under the Freedom of Information (Scotland)
Act 2002, you have the right to request a review of our actions and
decisions in relation to that request.  A request for a review must be
made within 40 working days of the original decision, should include the
name and address of the applicant for correspondence, the request for
information to which the review refers and the matter giving rise to the
