Could you please confirm the following:
1. How many communal and district heat networks do you manage and where applicable, have you notified these as per the requirements of the Heat Network Metering and Billing Regulations?
2. Do you have budget in place to replace or upgrade any of these heat networks?
3. Who is responsible for managing your heating team and heating replacement schedule?
4. How do you procure heating consultancy support? If applicable, which industry frameworks do you use?
5. Do you have a fuel poverty strategy applicable to your housing stock and if so can you please share this?

request I can confirm the following:
Thank you for your Freedom of Information request. Please see below the
answers to your questions. Reference: Heat Network Regulations Could you
please confirm the following: 1. How many communal and district heat
networks do you manage and where applicable, have you notified these as
per the requirements of the Heat Network Metering and Billing Regulations?
Sandwell Council do not manage any district heat networks. 2. Do you have
budget in place to replace or upgrade any of these heat networks? See
answer above. 3. Who is responsible for managing your heating team and
heating replacement schedule? The Council's Corporate Building Services
Team is responsible. 4. How do you procure heating consultancy support? If
applicable, which industry frameworks do you use? Consultancy support is
procured using a joint arrangement with Solihull Council. 5. Do you have a
fuel poverty strategy applicable to your housing stock and if so can you
please share this? Please see link below/ (also attached document) to the
Council's 2017 Home Energy Conservation Act (HECA) Report which includes
the Council's position regarding fuel poverty.
