Health and removals
Dear Home Office,
I submitted FoI requests 50691 asking about illness and death during forced removals and deportations from the UK. I was told that it would take longer than the FoI time limit to respond to my request. I am now reducing the scope of the request and submitting a new FoI request.
1) How many deaths have there been during immigration removals - both deportations and enforced removals - over the last five years that figures are available? Please define 'during removals' as any time from the moment the person is handed over to immigration escorts until the moment escorts hand the person over to officials in the country the person has been removed to.
Yours faithfully,
Diane Taylor

Thank you,
P. Zebedee
