having provided U$ 10 000 for a BBC investigative project
Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
In the news item and documentary below the BBC refers to having received U$ 10 000 as down payment to keep an undercover investigation into the ape trade alive. I provided the funding when I was told the BBC could not do so and as such the investigation would end. I was however assured that Interpol officers would stand by and assist in recovering the funds once the evidence of the payment would be provided. This did not happen and I asked for the filmed undercover evidence to log a case with the police in Egypt. BBC never provided the corresponding evidence of the negotiations with the dealer and the handing over of the cash which would have allowed for presenting a solid case. I would now like to once again request this information
