Has Antrim and Newtownabbey Planning asked How much Mains Water LAO3/2015/0051/F and LA03/2018/0918/F Will require when operational ?

D Archbold made this Freedom of Information request to Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Antrim and Newtownabbey District Council,

1.Has Planning inquired What Quantity of Mains Water will be needed to supply the Reahill Pig Factory ? Does any of the planning forms submitted with these applications contain these details ?

2. As the Reahill Pig Factory is located metres away from a Possibly NI Water Regional pumping Station (located at the South end of the Reahill road ) and also downhill from The Carntall Reservoir above the site , Has Planning supplied this figure ( if available ) to NI Water or is NA for this figure acceptable on a submitted planning form ?

3. As the same mains water supply from the Carntall Reservoir also supplies Newtownabbey Residents and possibly the Monkstown Pig Factory / Has any Planning member of staff been in contact with NI Water to point this concerning fact out to them and also ask as a Council is there enough mains water to supply Pigs and Rate payers ?

Yours faithfully,
D Archbold

Dear Mr Archbold

We have received your request for an internal review under our Freedom of
information (FOI) process.  As your original query was asking for answers
to specific questions rather than recorded information held by the Council
it was not considered to be a request under the Freedom of Information
Act, therefore we will not be carrying out a review under the FOI
process.  However, please find attached information which has been
provided by our Planning Section which we hope will answer your query.

Yours sincerely
