Half Pay Panel Meetings
Dear West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner,
Can you please advise a breakdown of statistics for 2015,2016,2017 of how many Officers were considered on long term sick leave and were subjected to half pay panel meetings.
Of those numbers can you provide a further breakdown of how many remained on full pay and under which criteria such discretion was shown.
Please identify if they fell into the following of four consideration points if decision was to maintain full pay
1/ wholly attributed to injury or illness on duty
2/ illness identified as terminal
3/submitted to SMP for determination of Permanent disability
4/absence related to disability as defined by EQ act and require reasonable adjustments to be made
Yours faithfully,
B Cowen
