• Suppliers who applied for inclusion on each framework/contract and were successful & not successful at the PQQ & ITT stages
• Actual spend on this contract/framework (and any sub lots), from the start of the contract to the current date
• Start date & duration of framework
• Is there an extension clause in the framework(s)/contract(s) and, if so, the duration of the extension?
• Has a decision been made yet on whether the framework(s)/contract(s) are being either extended or renewed?
• Who is the senior officer (outside of procurement) responsible for this contract?
• Would you consider appointing a third party contractor to service and repair the existing gym equipment beyond the existing OEM warranty period?

Thank you for your request for information of 26 February 2021 which has
been logged as RFI 3689 and has been dealt with under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000. We confirm that Cheshire West and Chester Council
does hold information relating to your request.

 

For the purpose of clarity your request has been reproduced below:

 

• Suppliers who applied for inclusion on each framework/contract and were
successful & not successful at the PQQ & ITT stages

Successful supplier - Life Fitness

Unsuccessful – Amer Sports, Johnson Healthcare, Rock t/a Pulse Fitness

 

• Actual spend on this contract/framework (and any sub lots), from the
start of the contract to the current date

Approx - £800k

 

• Start date & duration of framework

5 year contract from 2015, now expired (not a framework)

 

• Is there an extension clause in the framework(s)/contract(s) and, if so,
the duration of the extension?

Contract has expired, no extension applied

 

• Has a decision been made yet on whether the framework(s)/contract(s) are
being either extended or renewed?

Procurement process has been undertaken but no contract awarded at this
point due to Covid-19 uncertainties on future needs.

 

• Who is the senior officer (outside of procurement) responsible for this
contract?
