Greenwich Roadworks
Dear Greenwich Borough Council,
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request data on roadworks carried out under your authority.
Can I please receive a total count of roadworks that the council carried out within the date ranges of:
01/04/2016 - 31/03/2017
01/04/2017 - 31/03/2018
01/04/2018 - 31/03/2019
If I could please receive this as a total count for each year individually that would be fantastic.
Yours faithfully,
Russ Hunter

Our response is as follows:
The number of roadworks carried out is shown below. The Council have
interpreted your question to mean the works they have undertaken in the
road only (and not general highway repairs which would include other work
such as street lighting, street trees, footpaths and pavements etc).
2016/17 – 1,993
2017/18 – 2,306
2018/19 – 2,958
If you have any queries about this correspondence, please contact me,
quoting the reference number above.
If you are not satisfied with our response to your request, you can ask
for an Internal Review. Internal review requests must be submitted within
two months of the date of receipt of the response to your original
request. If you wish to do this, please contact us in writing, setting
out why you are dissatisfied.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the Internal Review, you may
apply directly to the Information Commissioner (ICO) for a decision.
Generally, the ICO cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the
Internal Review procedure provided by the Council. You can contact the ICO
by emailing [1][email address], or by post at Customer Contact,
Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow,
