Dear Mr Voughan,

I am writing in response to your request dated Thursday 8^th July 2021. 
This has been dealt with under the Environmental Information Regulations
2004.

You asked for the following information:

On 8 December 2020 the UK government launched a green number plate scheme,
which it said could help "motorists benefit from local initiatives such as
cheaper parking and cost-free entry into zero-emission zones.”

Please could you tell me if you have implemented any policies since 8
December that benefit owners of green number plates (yes or no). If the
answer is yes, please could you list the names of the policies/measures.

The Council's response to your specific questions is set out below:

Kirklees Metropolitan Council have implemented no such policies within the
specified timeframe.

If you are not content with the handling of your request, you have the
