Dear Ms Freer-Smith,
Thank you for submitting an FOI request, asking for information from the University of Warwick. In order to comply with your request, please could you clarify the following:
• For your question 1b) can you confirm that as your previous question requests data concerning Oxbridge students that within your Russell Group Universities data you do or do not want Oxford and Cambridge included as Universities?

• For your question 4b) can you confirm that you require data concerning entrants who were citizens within the 28 countries listed at http://europa.eu/about-eu/countries/memb... and that as your previous question requests data concerning entrants who are citizens of the UK that within your European entrant data you do or do not want UK entrants included?

• Similarly, can you confirm that for your question 4c) that as your previous question requests data concerning entrants who are citizens of European Union that you do or do not want these entrants included with data concerning the EEA?
In response to this query we must inform you that the information you have requested for the period 2015/2016 is data the University requires from this year’s admissions cycle which isn’t complete yet. The University will not be in a position to respond to this request until after the enrolment data is available, for the various cohorts of students. If you wish to request this information you may do so in a separate request after the enrolment date.
We look forward to hearing from you. The University will be unable to proceed with your request until you have provided the requested information. Please note that the 20 working day statutory time limit does not begin until clarification has been received and we will close your request in 20 working days if we receive no reply.

*Please note that the University does not identify students from the EEA
and therefore does not hold this information.

Please note that within the table where we have stated the value as ‘< 5’
we decline to provide the actual figure on the grounds that the numbers
are very small and could potentially lead to the identification of
individuals, which may place the University in breach of the Data
Protection Act 1998. We are relying on the exemption under section 40(2)
of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 in this regard. Where we have
stated the value as ‘< 10’ or ‘> 10’ we decline to provide the actual
figure on the grounds that the value of the ‘< 5’ figures can be deduced
from this figure and the numbers provided in answer to question one of
your request. As for the reasons stated above we decline to provide these
figures as it may place the University in breach of the Data Protection
Act 1998

If possible I would like this data to be communicated in terms of straight
numbers of pupils.

After seeking clarification, you provided the following further
information:

1b) yes I can confirm this - please do not include Oxbridge applicants
within the other categories of universities

4b) and 4c) yes I can confirm this - please exclude UK citizens from the
